How it works
Four steps, and nothing about them is confidential. Here’s exactly what happens between the moment you order and the moment your translation arrives.
The method, in four steps
Scope & quote
You tell us the document, the language pair, and what it’s for — a prefecture file, a contract, a manual, a live meeting. Turnaround and price are confirmed before anything is booked; for the seven services on this site, that price is shown on the page itself.
Match the specialist linguist
Your file goes to a linguist who works in that subject area and language pair — not simply the next translator free. Legal work goes to a linguist working in legal register; medical content to one familiar with clinical and regulatory language; technical content to one working in that engineering domain.
Translate + independent revision
The assigned linguist translates the full document. A second, independent linguist then reviews it — checking terminology, register, and accuracy — before it’s approved for delivery. This is a two-linguist workflow modelled on the ISO 17100 revision standard: described here as the process it is, not a certification we hold.
Certified & secure delivery
Your translation is delivered in the format you need — a digital PDF by default, or a stamped hard copy sent by tracked post for documents that require one. Source files are retained only as long as needed to support the order, then deleted.
Confidentiality & file handling
We receive source documents by email once your order is placed — a static, no-upload site by design, so nothing sits in a third-party upload service you can’t see. Files are stored only for as long as it takes to complete, review, and deliver your order, then deleted from our working systems. If your document requires a signed NDA before you send it, ask — we’ll sign one before you share anything. Privacy Policy.
Revision model
The two-linguist workflow is the same on every order, regardless of service: one linguist translates, a second, independent linguist reviews before delivery. The reviewer checks terminology, register, and accuracy against the source — not just spelling and grammar. We describe this as a workflow modelled on the ISO 17100 revision standard because that’s an accurate description of the process; it is not a claim that we hold ISO 17100 certification.
