Who we are
Quantum Translator, 24 Rte des Verrières, 49430 Huillé-Lézigné, France, is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. Contact us about privacy at support@quantum-translator.com.
What we collect
We collect the personal data you give us directly:
- Name, email address, and phone number — when you place an order, use the contact form, or communicate with us.
- Postal address — when your order includes a delivery option that requires one (a stamped hard copy, or an on-site interpreting location).
- Order and service details — the services ordered, quantities, variants, and any message or brief you send us.
- Technical and usage data via Google Analytics 4 — only after you give consent through the cookie banner; never before. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not collect payment-card data: checkout on this site does not process real payments (see Terms of Sale, "Payment").
Why we process it, and on what basis
- Performance of a contract — to process, deliver, and support the order you place with us (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Pre-contractual measures — to respond to a quote or contact-form enquiry before an order exists (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Legitimate interest — to keep the site secure and to prevent fraudulent form submissions (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Consent — for Google Analytics 4, only once you opt in via the cookie banner (Article 6(1)(a)); you may withdraw this consent at any time, with no effect on orders already placed.
Who receives it
Your data is accessed only by the people at Quantum Translator working on your order (the assigned linguist, the independent reviewer, and administrative contact). We do not sell personal data. Where Google Analytics 4 is active (post-consent only), aggregated usage data is processed by Google as a data processor.
How long we keep it
Order and invoicing data is kept for as long as French commercial and tax record-keeping obligations require. Contact-form data that doesn’t lead to an order is kept only as long as needed to respond, then deleted. Source documents you send us for translation are kept only as long as it takes to complete, review, and deliver your order, plus a short support window, then deleted from our working systems — see How we work for detail on file handling.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to how we process it. To exercise any of these rights, email support@quantum-translator.com. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés), 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data you share with us against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.
Cookies
