Seller
These Terms of Sale govern purchases made on quantum-translator.com, operated by Quantum Translator, 24 Rte des Verrières, 49430 Huillé-Lézigné, France — support@quantum-translator.com · +33 6 60 52 92 14.
Services & prices
The seven services described on this site (Certified & Sworn Translation, Legal & Contract Translation, Medical & Pharmaceutical Translation, Technical & Industrial Translation, Financial & Business Translation, Website & Software Localization, and Interpreting Services) are sold at the prices shown on each service page and on our Pricing page. All prices are in euros and include French VAT at the standard rate of 20% (TTC). The price you see at the point of adding an item to your cart is the price charged at checkout, unless the scope of the order changes (for example, a larger word count than initially selected).
Placing an order
You place an order by selecting a service, configuring its variant and any options, adding it to your cart, and completing the four-step checkout (Contact, Delivery, Payment, Review). An order is confirmed once you complete the Review step and receive an order reference. For translation orders, you then email your source documents to support@quantum-translator.com, quoting your order reference; your quoted turnaround begins when we receive them.
Payment
Checkout on this site is currently a demonstration flow: no real payment is collected, no card details are transmitted or stored, and no live transaction takes place. This will be stated clearly at the payment step of checkout. We will confirm real payment arrangements with you directly before treating an order as commercially binding.
Delivery / performance
Digital deliverables are sent by email to the address given at checkout. Where you’ve chosen a stamped hard-copy option, it is sent by tracked post to the delivery address provided, at the postal fee shown in your cart. Interpreting sessions are delivered at the confirmed date, time, and format (remote or on-site) agreed with you.
Right of withdrawal (14-day distance-selling right)
Under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, consumers ordering online generally have 14 days from the order date to withdraw without giving a reason. Because our services (translation and interpreting) are, in the ordinary course, begun promptly so we can meet the turnaround you were quoted, we ask you at checkout to expressly request that we begin the service immediately and to acknowledge that, once the service has been fully performed, you lose the right to withdraw (Article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code). If you withdraw before the service has been fully performed, you owe an amount proportionate to what was performed up to that point. Full detail on cancellation is in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Liability
We are liable for the accuracy of the translation or interpreting service delivered against the brief and source material you provide. We are not liable for errors that result from incomplete, illegible, or incorrect source material, nor for a receiving authority’s individual acceptance decision on a certified or sworn document — see the legal-validity guidance on our Certified & Sworn Translation page and FAQ.
Complaints & mediation
If you have a complaint about an order, contact us first at support@quantum-translator.com and we’ll do our best to resolve it directly. If we can’t resolve it between us, as a consumer you may refer the dispute to a médiateur de la consommation (consumer mediator) or, for a cross-border dispute, to the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Governing law
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. Any dispute not resolved through mediation is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
